    Nah, I think I will keep my old S3.

    My Abt chipped 1.8T engine develops 250bhp and does 0-100kph in under 6 secs too. The cabin looks a bit better than mine but the outside just doesn't do it for me...

    Well, at least it's the same company, isn't it?

    IMO the front bumper is alright, what I don't like are the side skirts, way too overdone if you ask me.

    Also I don't like the new giant Audi front grill - reminds me of old vintage trucks
    The interior looks nice though.

    Amen to that. I remember an oil commercial in the 90's. It showed front grills from the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's. Every 10 years, the grill would shrink 50%.
    (the point was that cars needed the best oil today because of increasing oil temps)

    Then the Chrysler 300C and the A8 W12 came, and I suddenly felt thrown back 50 years earlier. I guess this is what they call "progress"!

    I didn't like the appearance at the beginning, but it grew on me. I especially like the look of the A6.

    I find this especially bothersome on facelifted models, e.g. the A3, A4 and A8. It just feels slapped together by some wannabe ride pimper. It's obvious the car was not designed with the huge grill in the first place.
    I find the A6's grill okay as time passes, but I'd still love an after-market replacement.

    Fortunately, I bought my A4 before they horribly defiled it. She looks much better with the original thin, horizontal, understated, functional front end.
    (I do like the facelifted rear lights, though. )

    My SRT-4 is faster. For the money I thought the 0-60 times would be 5.0-5.3 seconds. I guess it's just heavy. Nice interior though.

    Not everything is in 0-60. I'd like to see your SRT-4 race it up to 120.

    agree,specially that ,MTM for example sells an ecu remap that boost the car to 245HP for 1K EURO

    Little info-S3 engine is pretty much reworked version of 2.0L TFSI in GTI, S3 engine is different in over 40% of all parts! BTW, my friend installed ABT chip in his GTI and experienced engine failure after just 4000km! He is currently seeking warranty issues... Maximum power for normal GTI engine is around 225hp without major changes. New S3 engine(265hp) and new Leon Cupra engine(240hp) are pretty different then basic GTI engine(different turbo charger, stronger head material, different cylinder material, etc.). Just be very carefull with aftermarket chips for TFSI engines...

    I think so too, but you have to agree that the engine failing after just 4000 kilometres is a disgrace, even if working at 20% more power.
