PSE: Which mod to do?

I've got PSE on my new C2. Just a little over 200 miles... I hear that modding the PSE makes it sound just incredible (even more so then it already is). There seems to be two methods of modding, disconnect one of the two vacuum hoses or disconnect the electrical connector.

Has anyone determined if one method is "safer" for the car? What negative effects may come about by disconnecting either a hose or electrical connecter?

Electrical disconnect is quick and easy....did mine 15,000 miles ago w/ no problems since.

ditto on the elec disconn. the Vacuum isn't exactly the easiest thing to unplug.

I had an extra switch installed inside the car so I can turn it on or off without having to plug/unplug

I went with the elec disconnect; I don't have to worry about things getting stuck inside the vaccum.

I'm installing a switch in center console. In one position PSE is on all the time, in the other it will work from the front switch , per factory ( I hope)

Has anyone triggered a fault with the electrical disconnect? I figured the vacuum line disconnect would surely avoid faults, but the electrical disconnect . . . I dunno. Would appreciate hearing from those who've had their cars serviced since the electrical disconnect. Thanks.

After 5 months no faults with electrical disconnect. I have yet to see a post on any board where someone has reported a fault with either electrical or vacuum mod.
