    She's a beauty.

    I'm always complaining that it's too hot in belgium but in SA it must be hell's backyard. I don't knwo how you can cope with the burning sun all day long. Nice sunny pics!

    Congratulations Mike. What was it that first attracted you to the Exige? Do you plan to track the car?

    Mike - Is the raised LOTUS lettering on the back factory standard? The ones here are still just flat stickers.

    Did you have one on order before you started getting them as loaners? Anyway--- GREAT FUN!!!.... I just watched the last 5th gear of the season and MIKE.... you must learn how to do a full 360 with this car and be able to recover and drive it in a straight line and do the classic sliding park.

    You mean like this? Yes mine is the first one to come out with the raised lettering. As Lotus had too many complaints from clients saying that the stickers come off if you pressure wash the car. The loan car I had, has these stickers you speak of.

    Yes Otwo, I had ordered the car, but it did not arrive in time so they gave me a loan car until it did.

    Thanks. The Exige S I drove yesterday which was of the first batch into Australia had the vinyl letters. Quite like the new style - apart from polishing around them!

    Lotus has alternated between the rear Lotus badge (similar to the one on the front nose) and the flat stickers. A Lotus USA rep took a pole on an American forum about what was preferred back in 2003/2004, and the stickers won. So the USA got stickers and the ROW had badges.

    For 2007 (and the remaining 2006 models), the raised lettering was adopted and is now standard.
