    F430 In Miami Vice The Movie

    Just a quick question.

    Last night a couple of friends & I went to see Miami Vice. As many of you probably know Crockett & Tubbs no longer drive the Testarossa but they know have a kick ass 430. Last night during a scene in the film as they were cruising down I95 the exhuast pipes on the car were shooting out blue fire. I kid you not. Is this some sort of movie special effect or is the 430 capable of doing that? The entire audience was ooooing and aaaaaaaahing listening to the car & watching fire continuosly come from the exhaust as they were going down the road.

    Another scene that gave me chills was when they went to meet the Lt on the top of the roof of a parking garage. The sound of the 430 coming up through the garage was INCREDIBLE!!!!!

    And yes the movie was good!

    I dont know about that but I tought they drove the black 365 gtb daytone in the show

    They had the daytona (actually a corvette with a daytona body kit) before the testarossa. I forgot what happened, I think the daytona was blown up in a drug bust gone bad or something, and Sonny got the testarossa.

    Yep that's exactly what happened the Daytona got blown up by a drug dealer testing a bazooka.

    If you've ever seen the flame from a gas stove, thats exactly what the flames coming out of the 430's exhaust looks like in the film.

    I thought he got the testarossa after accidentally busting a prostitution ring in down town china town next to some ferocious viking biker crew that was in the middle of exchanging cash for blow and aged Tennessee bourbon with the bolivian drug cartel boss that was screwing Zsa Zsa Gabor little sister.
