Its use in F1 chassis or aircraft wings does not mean anything.
Carbon fibers are very resistant to elongation (i.e. pulling) and okay in compression alongside the direction of the thread, but they are unelastic (i.e. hate sudden force changes) and very brittle in compression if you hit them sideways.
It makes them great in a controlled environment where we can precisely know the forces they will be exposed to. A CF wheel will be designed to withstand the weight of the car and the centrifugal force created by their rotation.
Now then, what happens if you hit a bump while powersliding?
