The back seats are already child seats! Put something for them to sit on to elevate and see how the seatbelt fits. My kids were fine (youngest was 3 when I got the car)
Gnil, I don't understand...doesn't your car have the light on the console that shows the airbag deactivated when there is a person under the cut-off weight in the seat? My kids also ride in the front and I didn't install a switch.

This is only on US cars due to your specific regulations..

I have a 06 997S cab and have been looking for seats for the rear (I have twin boys almost 2) and the Cabs dod not have Latch systems in the rear. Porsche no longer makes child sets, at least the ones I need. Been trying to find 2 seats, so far no luck.

The tequipment I can see in my brochure are for the front seat :
porsche baby seat ISOFLEX, G 0+ ( o to 18 month)
Porsche Junior Seat ISOFIX, G1 + G2 ( 9 month to 7 years)
ISOFIX equipment ( REf: 997 044 800 10 )
Again, all of this is for the FRONT seat.
Maybe there are smaller seats that would fit the back, I don't know.
All the ones I have tried do not fit.
In the back you can use a booster.

Use the teather strap at the top , its hidden by the carpet you make a small cut where the square cut out is to expose it. Then add the standard seatbelt through the back of the car seat. Worked great for me. I also removed the seat backs, Its only 3 screws and gives you an extra 4 inches of leg room for your kid.

To the best of my knowledge, Porsche does not provide any way to install lower LATCH anchors into the rear seats. Porsche only offers a kit to install the LATCH anchors into the front passenger seat. Please advise if I am mistaken.

I tried to put a "babylove compact" seat in the rear last night, and there is literally no room for the baby's legs if he dangles the leg over the edge. And we can't get the P babyseat on Tequipment anymore..Looks like the 911 is just not for babies/kids

It is , I take my kid often in the 911, but it is planed for the FRONT seat!!!!!
In the back it works only with a booster!

Ok.. different countrys different laws. Here it is legal in order to put a baby seat.
The wife in the back and the kid in the front would be... euh...

Hey Gnil, Anything to get the family from A to B
in the P-Car. Wayne, I'll ask the GM and let you know. I'm not so sure I wanna remove the back seat to fit the baby-seat, but the extra 4 inches leg room sounds good.
