I hope they won't bring back the C4 turbo wannabe and the rear reflecting band.
On the rear LED, if the changes are just cosmetic, I don't see the problem changing the whole lineup. Maybe the LED just wasn't ready for MY 2007. It would be a better marketing decision to go ahead with the changes than holding off just not to p/off recent buyers. Just makes the lineup "fresh".

They are really testing the facelift, and this thing i think made big problems for Porsche becouse there are testing again the GT2 and the Turbo cabrio mules with the "old" tail lights..and they have released the Targa two days ago with the "old" lights, and the GT3 and the Turbo were released two months ago and all us are waiting again first car to be delivered...so is impossible to change the look of the rear lights so soon on all the 997 range

I'm sure there's something we're not understanding properly. This just can't be. I'm sure they're not that stupid at porsche. There's gotta be something else behind all this. At least I hope so.

I look at it this way. All the components are cosmetic, made of plastic and are bolt on.
It takes very little effort/money to update the look of the cars.
They can do it at any time with any 911.

Any speculation on what this red thing is? It was also on the car in the other set of pics taken half a world away in the USA.
