    Don't know what they are saying, but the guys seems to be so excited about the GT3 and not the TT.

    The one is excited about the GT3 a real man machine.
    The other says, that the turbo isn't much slower but more comfortable for all day use.

    I liked the video.

    The GT3 is more fun, it has the fierce "radical" persona.

    While the 99TT is the "classicher sportwagen" and is more suitable for the old guys.

    The Turbo is well received. It's almost as fast as the GT3, but is much more comfortable and less stressful on longer stretches of road. And in Germany, where you can cover 500 km in a day sometimes, that is very important.

    That's a horrible video!

    I watched it on German television on Sunday, the video gives nearly no information about two great cars, nor does it provide nice pictures.
    Typically auto motor und sport TV.

    he's an bad actor and looks pretty unimpressed, but he like the tt as well as the gt3 guy

    Based on the TT driver expressions he has concluded what a couple of our poster's have concluded; fast car but no soul/or fun to drive.

    I don't think so - they used to be great about passionately displaying exclusive and powerful cars. They simply seem to access more and different viewers - fortunately not as drastic as TopGear...

    Intoxicatingly fast but relatively dull. Oh how some are so bespoiled and jaded about cars.

    What was noticed was that the TT seems to have gone up
    the age ladder for demographic appeal. Its the dream car for the 40 plus set and potentially embarrasing for those under 40.

    Even though its the quicker car, perceptually the TT is not the fun single guys car - its moved closer into the SL market. It seems to emit a serious and much to mature personality.

    The GT3 is the Porsche fun hooligan. The TT is the vicar.

    Yep, I agree that's how its positioned in the market. The default setting is not "sport". I have to turn it on each time I start the car. The exhaust sound is like a cow with diarrhea. Its expensive for the speed. It fits me. I guess I have just aged since my first hot car and enjoy the creature comforts combined with performance for my daily driver. And, no.....I am not under 40!

    Porsche will sell a ton of them and will need a daily armored truck pick up to take the cash to the bank. However, I suspect there will be some seriously disappointed buyers.

    Why would they be dissapointed? Not sporty sounding enough? It is, what it is.

    If you want a basso soprano exhaust sound, get a Fiat 124 and install a Abarth exhaust. The price for that music ticket will be equal to the 997's cd changer and colored seat belts. Two things you cant drive.

    Look, heres a clean Fiat 124 coupe.
