    Autocar UK 997 Turbo test..

    Autocar in the UK have had a full road test in this weeks issue.

    0-60 3.6s
    0-100 8.0s
    0-150 19.6s

    standing 1/4 : 11.3s/120mph

    Are these figures the best we've seen on the turbo? I'll try and scan if there is demand.

    Thx for sharing. A scan would be nice as it will answer questions we all have - like manual or tip, sc, etc...

    It was a manual with the sport chrono and carbon brakes.

    Thx for the precision. It is a very fast time indeed. It is the best I've seen so far for a manual one.

    Actually the Car and Driver test was a manual with SC and steel brakes and they acheived the following:
    0-60: 3.4!
    0-100: 7.8
    0-150: 19.1

    Here goes, haven't got a scanner and my slr is packed away so used my girlfriends point and shoot, then the battery died. I'll reshoot tomorrow at a better quality, but here's the first attempts.

    For some reason it has come out rotated through 90 degrees!

    This review gives credit to the 997TT where it deserve.
    It's a good/fair comprehensive review...that show pretty well what the 997TT is all about!
    Damn this is a HOT and FAST car

    Does anyone know how much lift the 996TT had in the front (@ 150 mph)? The article says the new has +6kg.
