Whatever they go to is kind of irrelevant because they cover you when stuff happens. I can think of tons of people who have totaled their cars or significant damage. My friends sister totaled her's two days ago. My mclaren had $5000 in damages from a rodent and I was paying only $60/month. My other friend was hit head on by an uninsured drunk driver.
Insurance is well worth it, especially in an exotic that will have a minimum of $20k of damage in even the slightest accident. What's a headlight on a Lamborghini cost? $3k?
If assurances would pay more out then they gain , they would not be around . When it gets too tight, they increase premiums . Someone has to pay , and it is not the insurance . It is the people who pay the premiums .
If I look around RT , I have hardly ever heard of someone having a major crash . It is seldom .
Insurance is all and only about probability and they make sure it is on their side . Logic !
