    Help - Wheel Repair London

    Yes, I've only had her 2months and managed to kerb the rear passenger wheel; nice fat 6-7 inch scar on the rim

    So, anyone had experience of good wheel refurb company in London, preferably mobile, or North London ish.

    There's a place that does wheels on the A10 a few hundred yards before the Brookfield's centre near Cheshunt....never tried the place but was recommended to me a few years ago....you cant miss it...on the left near some lights

    There's a place on the Finchley Road (can't remember the name) - between Swiss Cottage and Finchley Road tube stations. Have heard good reports, so worth a try although as I haven't used them I can't recommend them personally.

    Hi SoS,

    If you remember give me a shout...on the basis I work virtually on top of Swiss Cottage tube! (co-incidence or what!).

    I suspect I know where you mean, it used to be a Kwik Fit, closed, then re-opened sometime ago. I'll stop by tommorrow, but if you do remember drop me a note. If it is the place I'll be very, very happy given it's proximity to where I work & live!

    In fact where I kerbed my wheel was just round the back of Swiss Cottage tube. Bl**dy Camden council extended the kerb outwards to prevent people parking right on the junction, it's shaped rally badly (no excuse I know) and i clipped it in a hire car about 6months ago - have been really concious of it, until Friday night - doh! Camden is also road-hump central, have -20mm and every time graze the plastic skirt back from the front bumper!

    I've heard that Wicked Wheels are excellent. Visit their Website for more details but they seem to have a few location in and around London.

    Slightly further up from North London - Chipsaway in St Albans are very good and offer a mobile service too.

    Same happened to me. I gave it to my Porsche dealer who
    sublet it to their paint shop. They did an excellent job
    at Euro 175,00.
