    Turbo looks on C2S? Where to get parts?

    Mates,

    I've fitted the aerokit on my c2s but felt that the new turbo front bumper and rear spoiler looks great. Any idea how I can get hold of these?? I don't think the rear bumper will fit cause its a wide body.. help

    Any specialist shop which carries these??

    Not too sure how it will looks tough...

    Dude, why bother? It will look like a try hard turbo in my opinion. Besides, 997 is rare enough in Malaysia! (where in Malaysia are you btw?)

    ...why do you think the old 996 C4S sold so well >> because it looked like the Turbo!

    OTOH, it would be great if you can figure out how to get a C2 rear deck/spoiler on a Turbo!

    That frilly permanently-deployed wing appendage is the only thing which is preventing me from seriously considering ordering a Turbo right now.

    I wouldn't be doing that as it would seriously affect the aero of the car...

    Bro, i get what you mean but i guess that's why they say the 996 c4s is selling so well. I travel between KL and Johor tough.

    For your information, the 997 c2s price has risen again here in M'sia. From RM850k (US236k) to RM1.1m (US305k), and the new turbo cost RM1.5m (US416k)!! Just imagine what car you can buy with that in your country.

    Part of the reason why I want the turbo looks, got it guys!!

    Base turbo is 250000 euros here. What a tax rip off.

    MMD if you figure that out I bet you will have alot of people who will switch with you (if Turbo wing deck fits on other Carreras)

    IIRC the 996 C4S had a subtly different front aero package compared to the 996TT to compensate for the different rear wing. You'd want to do the same. Pretty sure at normal, 2 digit, speeds (i.e. away from the German autobahn) the difference in "plantedness" (my new word - let's all use it and see if it ends up in the dictionary) would be nominal.

    I recall seeing a Ruf RTurbo with the C4S rear wing. Somewhere.

    Sorry for maybe hijacking the thread, but maybe no one has an answer for Malaysia"997s" at this time.

    Anyway, ---talking about lower-than 140mph speeds--- maybe he would still be ill-advised to turbo-ize his 997 because the body style is slightly different?

    IOW, would a 997 rear deck retractible spoiler REALLY be THAT different from the stock turbo wing?

    Aw, crap..., I can see where this is going..., there's no way around this, if you want the Turbo, you gotta have the wing.

    I just want the Turbo car (over my 997s) to pass like a bastard slowpokes on two-lane rural highways... . Wing attracts too much additional attention.
