    New member with Rennworx wheels

    Hello everyone. I've been monitoring this forum for about a year. I've been waiting until I got my new wheels before I joined so I'd have something to post. I just got a set of Rennworx RSL wheels mounted last week. Here's a picture of my car, an '05 C2S, Slate Gray/Cocoa.

    Looks like the BBS racing type rim without the deep dish effect.

    Killer. They remind me of the BMW M3 CS wheels, which are the best looking (IMO) factory supplied wheels on a car sold in America. The spokes on yours are a bit wider. Looks wonderful

    Thanks for the compliments. I like the 14-spoke style a lot. Some of my favorite cars have a similar design. Off the top of my head: 997 Cup Cars, LMP2 RS Spyder, Ferrari Stadale. Plus these wheels are forged aluminum, so they are really light. When I picked up the wheels at FedEx I weighed them. The rear wheel (11 x 19) weighs 22.85 lbs. The fronts (8.5 x 11) are 19.55 lbs each. I also weighed the 5 titanium lug nuts and they came out to be .65 lbs. I estimate the total weight savings over stock to be around 14 lbs. Anybody know the weights of the Carrera S wheels?

    Here are the weights for the S and Classics:

    S F 22-4 R 27-12
    Classics F 23-10 R 28-11

    I have Champion RS97's and the weights are:

    F 19-2 R 19-8

    Your rear wheels are really light. Another one of my favorite style wheels is the TechArt Daytona(?), but I remember reading that they weigh a ton. I wonder what the lightest weight 19 inch wheels are? FM 110's, Champion's? I know the BBS Manthey wheels are really light but they only come in 18 inch.

    Thanks for the compliment. I like those M3 wheels too. I think the M3 wheels are 16 spoke and HRE makes a similar style. HRE C20's were my second choice to the Rennworx. Are there any pictures of that combo out there? I saw the 18 inch version on a 996 GT3 RS. You wouldn't think there's a significant difference between how 18 and 19 inch rims look, but there is.

    Where are Rennworx wheels available?

    There are one of the few non OEM wheels that I have seen on the car that looks great.
