hmmm, I was thinking whether I would like that on all 997's as an update or not... I think I do. Compared to the 997 turbo's front, the directionals of the standard 997 look way too big.
However, I don't know whether there will be a "facelift" like that. As far as I know, the 996 turbo had different style headlights, because the standard 996mk1's headlights were disliked by many, so the facelift of the 996 was forced by customers. Also, I think the 996 turbo was released much later in the life of the 996 than the 997 turbo? (996 turbo in 2002, when was first introduction of 996? 1997? vs 997 in 2005, 997 turbo in 2006)

Not sure if I agree with you on the dated issue. The 997TT front is nice but I like my 997 front. The LED lights are cool but nothing special.

I'd like to see updated headlights. Maybe a cross between the Carrera GT and the Cayman.
I'd also like to see a better Porsche Communication Manager (PCM). At the very least have the screen centered not off to the side. It should look clean and purposeful, not like I'm about to take off on a 747.
More power is always a good option.
