    Carlos from Spain:

I thought the touring option was rear seats and not wingless?

I think 911T may be different model from GT3 Touring... Not sure if they'll make both (or either)

    Nick

pccb in usa are half the price in NZ, get them especially if you order a yellow car.  Sun ordered pccb and silver wheels in usa , and steel and platinum wheels in NZ.

We hope you change your mind on yellow; Sun had  yellow GT2 and besides being garish and obvious to cops, it's hard to keep clean.

    cheers

Very nice! Would need to be a little careful to choose something not too polarizing though, as Switzerland is a small market of buyers mostly averse to loud colours. Viper green would probably sell, but something like Birch or Gelbgrün might not be easy to resell. There's been an Olympic Blue PTS Boxster for sale here for years now for example.

Are you sure you do not want to go for the next RS ?  Otherwise Voodoo blue would be one of my first choice

Actually I think the opposite - in Switzerland after a Long series of black silver and white People are much more choosing a "different" Color and those PTS Colors can ask for a hefty premium. I'd love to have a birch green or Signal green GT3 etc - definately would go for this if yr build slot is in the wintertime and a couple of weeks delay are no issue

Thanks for your excellent input. I did consider that one of the dials is not white but again that doesn't concern me. Here is the interior I selected. With red calipers, the red interior coordinates well at least to me.Smiley You can click on the picture for a close up of the stitching against the bucket seats.

FWIW, because Porsche limited the interior option, their designers selected colors that would work with the limited exterior colors for the car. They took a minimalist approach in the production of the car except for performance.Smiley

Without budget concerns, I'd get an RS.  Problem is there's a ~30k price differential, and also there's a risk I couldn't get an RS even if I decided to.  I've not decided on a .2 GT3 as yet.

The RS probably will hold up those 30k extra! But yes - it might be difficult getting one. Smiley

    Re: OFFICIAL: New 991.2 GT3

High performance sport cars should not only scream performance but also look the part. I have never understood sedate/boring looking sport cars. The muted colors so as not to be seen doesn't resonate with me. Let the car be and seen for what it is. If your going to put a paper bag over the car why bother?

I would go with PCCB's if I opted for the dull grey interior. My red ACCENT interior adds punch to the car and to coordinate with the outside of the car red calipers do the job. Besides, based on my readings most of the buyers are not opting for PCCB's since they plan to track their car and by unanimous agreement Porsche standard brakes are fabulous. One other point. Most say you don't get your money back if you opt for the ceramic brakes. I plan to keep the car for a year or so.

You probably will get the difference of money back when you sell .

As it 's your only car , maybe GT3 is better for driving around in ZH and also we have nothing sure about the next RS . If limited it will be hard to get

    Re: OFFICIAL: New 991.2 GT3

Update. I learned today that deviated stitching will be available for cars starting with November allocations.

I am reconsidering my interior choice. I spoke with the Porsche design consultant in LA and he will look at my build sheet tonight or tomorrow and give me his thoughts. His initial reaction was that the black/grey interior would go better with the RY exterior. I told him that I associate black/grey interior with minivan interiors and prison walls. He got a big laugh out of that. Smiley

My car build date is July 21st.So I still have a couple of months.

Might not help but I am doing my volcanic organic Mini with black/dark truffle interior and JCW accents. Might be too elegant for a yellow GT3 though.

same here - this looks so much better than having red or yellow. I can'T see those red calipers anymore. They look so 80s and not appropriate for cars build in 2017

Yes, reviews are pretty amazing. More tomorrow...

    Re: OFFICIAL: New 991.2 GT3

    thierry:

Now that we are all discussing small details :

My car will be metallic black.

    What would you recommend ?

    - order the LED with PDLS plus with black surrondings, which is not changing fro previous generation (i had them , but to be honnest, I was not driving so often during night and this is not making a big difference).

-order the standard xenon with PDLS, but which are new with the four LED into it, signature from Phase II, and highlighted in all pictures from 991.2 GT3 site

It is not a question of saving 2000 euro ( in fact this is as much) , but more a question of getting the signature from phase II with those 4 leds which are not so bad in my opinion.

I'm very interested into your feedbacks guys.

I have only till 10 th of May to make mods, so I should figure it fast.

    Thanks !

We can only hope that the lap times will also be amazing...

Everytime I read things like this again and again about the 911 I can't help but suggests chuckle at those (mostly poseurs ironically) that think that sportscars can only be mid-engined indecision
