    Porsche 950 HP Supercar for 2009-Any REAL substance to this?

    I have seen a couple posts on the supposed GT1 for 2009. I understand most of the articles from other forums and magazines are usually very innacurate, but there seems to be quite a few posts on the subject. I haven't seen many people disputing the claims from Autoweek, etc. Please direct me to a link if this has been discussed in great detail. If not, does anyone known of any information from Porsche or any relibale source on what, if anything, this car will be? I am very surprised to see many responses to the previous posts about this car to be positive. Most people are excited about this car, not really questioning if it is even anything real. Please clue me in. Thanks.

    I think we all want to believe it very badly, but a 950hp car targeting the Veyron top speed record does not seem very likely IMHO. RC has stated that he has learned of a new GT1 in the works, but he said it will cost less than the CGT and not be too much faster. Oh well, I'm keeping my hopes up, bring on the GT1

    Yeah.... I've heard rumours and I do think that we will see a GT1 soon (or not sooo soon), but 950hp??? Seriously doubt it... Wish it could be true but chances are are wont happen, at least not in this 997 generation.
