    why is it so unaerodynamic looking, it looks like a squashed audi tt.
    I hear its pretty unaerodynamic so i'm not surprised but still

    I don't think a car that can sustain 250+ mph is unaerodynamic?

    Actually it's very aerodynamic looking - just the wrong sort of aerodynamics... The type that gives lift, not downforce.

    Actually that is not quite true. I read that the Veyron has SO MUCH downforce that at speeds over 200mph it can drive upside down!!!

    I somewhat doubt that - an F1 or Indycar, yes I can believe.

    But the Veyron? Look at the big spoiler on the back... It needs it because the general shape of the car is all about lift. This is what happens when you design a car in an arse-about manner (shape and style first, then function.) This is why there were so many delays with the car - that and cooling.

    Of course, in order to reach it's top speed that big spoiler needs to retract (less drag) but it results in less downforce too.
