No idea what you are talking about.
RHD cars have the handbrake in the centre of the car and we use our left hand to operate it. Since I never ever use mine I couldn't careless where it is.

In a left hooker the ash tray open up facing the driver, in a right hooker it doesn't - the hand brake in a left hooker sits an inch or so closer to the driver, on a right hooker, its sits closer to the passenger because they don't swop it over or mirror the interior for a RHD like some other manufacturers do. Cheap skates!
Mind you, its not really a problem. Having owned both left and right I can honestly the steering wheel on the left is much more comfortable. There is more leg room as well! The car is designed in LHD and the ergonomics are definitely suited to LHD a wee bit more. In the 930 the RHD driving position was a joke, even the 964 or 993 are not perfect. The wheel arch in a RHD really obstructs too much into the footwell resulting in you having to compromise your seating position - IMO that is,

I concur. It is easy to tell that the car is set-up for LHD, and its arrangement for RHD appears to be an afterthought. You are right that the handbrake is closer to the passenger in a RHD car. So are the more frequently used controls, such as the stereo volume control. At least the bonnet (hood) and boot (trunk) releases are now on the driver's side, unlike earlier cars. The pedal arrangement is still awkward: the accelerator (gas) pedal is too centrally located, but the driving position is much better than that of the 964 and 993. LHD cars of course do not have such problem.
Porsche did get the handbrake lever right with the 928 - in my previous 928S4, the handbrake lever was by the door sill, and they had to have a dedicated arrangement for RHD cars!
BMW used to be equally 'cheap' with RHD cars: my E30 325i (auto) had the transmission T-bar handle designed anatomically for the right hand to operate, not ideal for a RHD car. The gear selection indicator was also on the wrong side, and it was hard to tell what gear the car was in.
