Funny, my car was ordered with the Al foot rest, but I'll be darned if it got delivered with it. All I see is a black rubber footrest with the tiniest strip of Al around the edge - kinda the same look as the pedals. If that's the Al footrest, my guess is W.W. is giggling pretty good right now.

The aluminum comprises only the outside perimeter of the dead pedal. The other 95% is the regular black rubber.
I would take the same $250 and add $110 more to get the leather door finishers...something not as easily retro-fittable.
Not big money either way, but XXZ is one of the few options which costs LESS to acquire after delivery....Here's a good pic-- if you like the look you can easily install later for less $$$.

Again, thanks for the pics. What I didn't know at the time of ordering is that the cars already come with a standard dead pedal, hence the order for the foot rest. I think the cost of the alum option isn't worth just the trim, but it may be a little better looking. My car will be slate/black, 6S, locking diff, short shifter, PCCB, painted skirts, CD changer, seat crests, adaptive sport seats with heat, floor mats, delete model designation and thicker sports steering wheel. Oh, and sports chrono, too. Can't wait for Sept!
