    PSE - i think Porsche updated with May prod cars...

    i have a may build 997S and the PSE I can turn on and off with the sport button WITHOUT the PASM and the sound seems louder than some of the older clips i have seen/heard with PSE. i.e growls, burbles!?! I also recall seeing a technical bulletin posted here where there were several "modification/updates" to PSE . has anyone experienced this? BTW PSE has surpassed by expectations and is a MUST HAVE options. The sound is incredible with no break in ! my car is 2 days old!

    Sport button with 3 settings?

    My sport button turns PSE on an off, but it also sets PASM to sport and alters PSM at the same time.

    So are you saying your sports button has 3 settings: Sport off, PSE on only, PSE + sport throttle setting, sport PASM and relaxed PSM?

    Is this what you're saying?

    I'm confused, please clarify. It sounds like you are saying you have a separate PSE button in addition to the Sport Chrono button?
    ...because up until now, hitting Sport Chrono button necessarily turns on PASM Sport suspension mode whether you want to turn on PASM Sport setting or not--- of course which you can then switch immediately back to Comfort mode by pressing the stand-alone PASM button.

    correct. I hit sport button and both pasm and sport button illuminates. then I can press the pasm button turn that off and the sport button still illuminates AND PSE sound AND the sportier trottle mapping remains. i will get a sound clip soon but here is a pic

    So there is no change to the settings?? It is still the same as before

    This is normal and the same for all 2005/2006 models.

    You are correct - have always been able to do this. My start sequence is seat belt, key on, PSE on, PSAM off.

    lol, damn got me all excited. yeah, the sports and PASM buttons have always functioned this way.

    Now ... the cool think would be to have a sports button that just turns the PSE on and not affect PASM at all ...
