    A closer look to the Porsche 968

    I can't believe why Porsche has given up the 968-line:
    look at the two modified 968-versions.
    Now Aston Martin has picked up design-elements in its current line. No surprise: The boss (Dr. Bez) was a porsche-man in his early years.

    Really good looking, Farina!
    I especially like the upper one, with the 997-style rearlights, and something which reminds me of the ducktail of the 996tt!

    Your designs are always nice farina. BUT the 968 was just a 944 stealing some cues from the 928 to go upscale.

    It would be nice to see you work a variation of the 928 design even though it is timeless. That's a challenge for you.

    Dr. Bez was very fond of the 928 and I would argue that the low wide and long nosed astons are the continuation of the 928. The best all around GT ever made until very recently.

    The tail of the 928 is still amazingly beautiful.
    Give it a new front and you have an instant, modern classic

    IMO the 928 is beautiful from the front either. especially the headlights have been quite visionary in the era of the standard popup headlights.

    And the interior was so nice!

    I'd like to see Porsche do a 4cyl front engine entry level sports car again. I love my 944 and a new Boxter or Cayman is just a little out of my reach.

    If it was in your reach, it wouldnt be a Porsche

    And I think youre better off waiting till u can afford a Boxster or Cayman, than P making a 4-cyl (and probably underpowered) entry-level model.

    Of course...you can hope they would re-introduce the 914/4 in a more powerful package
