    I think the fact the 430 resembles the 360 in shape gives the impression that it may look dated to any one person. Despite the F430 has different headlamps, front intakes, and side ducts it truly differs little in terms of overall shape of the 360.

    Well, not much more to say. This pic was around a couple of months before the first pics from the VIP-presentation in July appeared. It was February or March 2004, if I remember correctly. Obviously the pic was taken inside Maranello and it must have been some Ferrari guy who took the picture and brought it out of the factory. The car is identical to the final F430 design, except for the front bumber. I don't know if this prototype really caught fire, neither I know what happened to the guy who took the picture.

    I never liked the front end on the 360 or the 430, the F355 imo is the best looking mid engined sports car the Ferrari has ever built.

    IMO the F430's lights are too far apart and it has wierd plastic around the intakes, it would look better in black, I like the 360's front more. I don't think it looks dated, but more modern then the 360.

    I like the headlights of the F430 better than those of the F360, but you're right about the front. In fact the front of the Challange Stradale looks best.

    agree with rossi, and the enzo-esque vents would have gone better with the F430's enzo rear..:)
