    Does the 430's front looks dated to anyone

    Is it me or does anyone else feel the 430's front looks a little dated ? .... It was always the weakest part of the car to me when it came to looks but after looking at so many newer cars since it came out it really is starting to become more noticable . Do not get me wrong the car is so beauiful , but when I see that shot from the front straight on well

    I don't think it looks dated, but I think it's not the best looking front for a car. This perspective also may not be the best, but Pininfarina definetely could have done better at the front.

    Actually, I think the front is particularly successful, but there's always room for personal opinion when it comes to appearance.

    Don't think it's dated, it's just very clean lines, not following any trends. Exactely why I like the 993 and 997 front.

    The design (front nostrils) does come from their 1961 F1 car.

    I don't think the front of the car looks dated but the front of the bumper (the nostrils) I don't like. They should have done something more similiar to the CS's bumper, most everyone loves this design when they see it in the flesh or have time to live w/ it, except the ground clearance issue of course. I'm real curious to see what they do for the 430CS/Pista.

    I think the 355 was a great design and the 360 and 430 not as pretty. I'm certain that the 430 is the best car of the group, but its styling makes me think they just assembled design cues from other models (nostrils from the 60's, tail-lights from the Enzo, etc.) and mixed them all together without a coherent concept.

    Well you will not have to suffer long. The replacement is due within two years. I suspect we will see at least 550hp and an entirely new body design.

    still, imo the lifespan of ferrari's v8 is way too short.. frustrating for a car of this price

    I like the front, and while I think it looks good, the only part that I dont understand is the part connecting the two vents, looks like a tiny line...I know why its there, but i wonder why the got rid of it on the 360 then brought it back...

    I believe it has got to do with aerodynamics, although I don't think that middle piece is absolutely necessary, it does help a little more.

    Maybe it's just me, but the F430's nostrils bare a certain resemblance to Dionne Warwick and since she's been around a while, that would make it a dated design
