    The worst review ever!(Quattroruote)

    Quattroruote, an italian magazine really friend of Ferrari,this months comes out with this test...

    take a look and take your conlusion...they said the weather is really hot..and that the turbo has got some clutch problems..and lost some time from standing start accelerations..

    the test times are incredible..a 997 S is faster then a 997 turbo

    that magazine for me was just terrible,now is worst again..



    Porsche,help,make something!!!

    I add also that the same turbo(same colour,same plates),on another magazine make 0-100KM/H in 3,76 and 0-1000m in 21,65 sec.

    Honestly, you have to be a stupid person to perform a test in such bad conditions, because now the readers have no idea about what's actually going on.

    The 0-200kph must be a typo. There is no way the turbo could hit the 1000m mark within 1 sec of the F430 then need another almost 3 seconds to hit 200 kph

    There is an easy explanation for this...

    Quattroruote obviously hasn't hired Von Saurma.

    Seriously though... if some of you don't think there is a national bias for each of the sport's car magazines... you're dreaming.

    Look how the GT starts to pull away after 180kph.

    What a worthless test. My guess is that Nberry saved this article and will refrence it in all further 430vsTT debates.

    This is a wonderful test.


    The Porsche had a weak clutch and they couldnt launch the Corvette right.... but the Ferrari got eaten alive by a...Ford.

    The Ford GT would probably cook up a TT also, Tip or Stick and even with a strong Porsche back wind.

    For the standing Kilometer, 257.6 km/h in 21.6 sec is freakin fast.

    RIGHT ON!! All these test have built in bias. Where is Von Saurma when Porsche needs him?

    So, wouldn't this tell you there some truth to the clutch being fried since they weren't the first to test this turbo? I mean, where's the conspiracy theory here?

    German Sport Auto? VERY unlikely and I know that nobody outside Germany believes me. The reputation of Sport Auto over here is incredibly good...unless you're a Ferrari driver. Apparently some Ferrari owners didn't forget a comment in one article about Ferrari drivers avoiding Porsche owners on the track in the past because they were "afraid" of them.

    BTW: the test results in Quattroruote are ridiculous and I hate those "comparison" tests anyway when car magazines combine SINGLE tests of cars to a "comparison" test. A REAL comparison test means to drive all the cars at the same time back to back. This is actually the only way to get a REAL comparison which is worth something. And this is what Rennteam is going to do.

    I think they tested all cars in the same day.They already did a similar test with the CGT,Enzo and Murcielago.

    The Ferrari won the test.Gallardo came 2nd and then the Turbo.
    Also,straight line performance is quite easy to get.Put a Ford GT against a tuned Supra.
