    You hit 324kph! I guess that means 310 was a conservative estimate and Porsche was smart enough not to install a limiter. Have fun on your drive.

    324kph on the speedo are approximately real 310kph (actually more like 305kph if the speedo has a similar accuracy as in case of the 996TT)...

    Second? More like fifth. And please don't ask...
    But he's the first who had the guts to put his dealer into trouble. Considering the "importance" of his dealer, I think nothing will happen though.

    The 997 TT does "true" 311 kph. Not one single kph more. GSP measurement, two cars (Tip & manual). Which again might suggest that the 997 TT is limited to a certain speed. Still working on an accurate info, it is weird we can't get any offical stuff on this.

    If it revs to 6500 rpm, that certainly is weird. I think a delimiting mod would be worthwhile.

    That is beautiful CF thanks for the picture. I do believe now that darker color suits the turbo much better .

    Amir, that is a fantastic lift system in your garage...i must have one, who did for you/or what company produces such a lift. I've seen several but you've trusted yours to two F cars, so I'm gussing its quite reliable. Any info would be appreciated.

    Congrats to Chris (I love the color) and all the other members and non-members who have or will be picking up their cars.

    Zero Hero - I purchased the lift some seven years ago from a company named M.I. Steel in City of Industry, here in California. I had it reinstalled at my new house by a company call air-draulics in North Hollywood. I will fish for the numbers and send them to you as soon as I find it.
