    Driving crazy for a white Turbo..

    Yes..

    two days ago after saw the pics of the White 997 Turbo i went out of mind..

    I love that colours,and specially i love it becouse i'm sure that is difficult to see another one easy in Italy..

    So,i talk with my dealer and he tell me that till the end of june i can modify my order..

    so,i'm near to leave the Meteor/terrcatta(that i love) to go with a more sportier and racing white/cocoa 997 TT

    now i'm searching good pics of white cocoa also on 997 non turbo..if someone has good one,and can post,makes me a favour..

    I know that maybe i will have some problems on resale value..but..all times there is something that make a second hands car not easy to sell..so..

    IMO I still think a dark metallic would look best on the Turbo, I think you're fine to stick with Meteor-- assuming Meteor's available for your Sept delivery; I noticed a couple of weeks ago that the availability date for Meteor grey was changed from 8/2006 to 9/2006 on Porsche/Germany configurator.

    yes..with a white Turbo..i'm more easy to catch.. ,but with a Meteor gray is easy that Polizia takes me instead of another Turbo..

    and if the Meteor will be dealyed for a month is another excuse to go with white..

    It seems that choosing a color is driving everyone crazy on this forum. And once you start thinking of another one, you also have to change the interior's color.

    Once you start, the more you think about it the more you don't know. One week you're certain you have to go for a specific combo, the next you're certain you have to go for another one.

    Definately I'll go for white if it was for a 997gt3, there is no question

    But also for the turbo white looks amazing, and as you said will look something different, there are in some cars that white isnt their colour, but in the gt3 and now the turbo IT IS!!!...So I'll say go for white exterior colour !!, it will be amazing....

    I would probably go for white exterior and blue interior, or interior black !

    Is that a P-shop? If not what kind of suspension did they use? I thought that because of the PASM and networked systems that suspension mods would take significant developement. Looks great.

    From the hi-res close up pics of cocoa above, in the bottom pic, bottom right corner... are those black lines just due to photography or are they some sort of natural "veins" in the cocoa leather? I've always loved cocoa as it is such a rich, luxurious interior but those vein-like things in the pic are getting to me. Anyone know? the post is above, from outlaw hawk.

    I have seen several pictures of cocoa and all of them have the marble like finish or "veins".

    it is real , do not know the suspension they used .... Champion the dealer in Miami did it to one of their first cars . Best looking 997TT I have seen so far ...

    here is another shot ... looks like a whole different car , compared to the thing sitting up in the air with the factory wheels that I never liked .. this thing looks like a race car .

    Yesterday i changed my order..now is White/cocoa plus carbon..

    But if i must tell all..i don't like too much those rims on the white turbo up here..i prefer the stock ones..it looks too big!

    I don't understand why anyone would want to put 20's on their Porsche. IMO they look too big and will probably degrade the handling/ride of the car.

    20's are too big for performance and looks. Heck, even 19's look somewhat big on this car. Why all the obsession about changing wheels? The stockers are light and actually function to cool the brakes. Also, they look much better than the Champions.
