Good idea Crash! One of the models I like most is This one Will look where I can find it, so I can see it in real life. Might be a bit too busy though. Thanks for the tip!

It looks great! Not really too busy for my taste.

I think the only special in the limited edition is the box with the 997TT miniature. The version I saw in the OPC in March/April did not have that extra.

Not right. The "normal" edition are delivered with a miniature turbo, too.

I think I can find myself in the last two posts... I love watches, but have only two of them, both kinda cheap (about $200) But they do their job just fine. When I find the watch that really satisfies my "needs" in both looks and features (at least has to be kinetic), and for a reasonable price, I'll buy it instantly. Truth is, I have not found the watch yet which I really, really like. Either they are too bling, or too cheap, or too busily-looking... well, there's always an excuse not to buy it

I've got a Tag heuer, not too expensive and no bling bling either. You can get a good looking one for 1,200-1,500 euros.

You can even get one that says carrera That one must be a bot more expensive. Like 3000 euros or something. That's a bit too expensive for "just a watch".

We have to "consume" the time until the first cars arrive for reviews.

Really? I thought the porcelain throne was, arguably, a suitable viewpoint? Obviously, I have no business owning a Monet.

Temm, I have only five watches in my collection...
You said Lange? That's an interesting idea...

It's not the number of watches that counts, it's what kind of watches you have. And with a Grande Complication, you would only need one watch in the collection

Yes, Lange is my favourite brand. How about a Datograph Perpetual?:

Re: Something very special - 911 Turbo Watch

    Excellent choice Temm!
You have very good taste IMO.

Looking great mike! I have one quite similar for daily use:
but then with a grey dial...

Re: Something very special - 911 Turbo Watch

Looks cheap. What's the suggested retail price?

Re: Something very special - 911 Turbo Watch

it IS cheap! about Euro 200,- I think. But what I love about it, is that it has simple design lines (like the 911 ) and it is light. Furthermore, it doesn't scream: "I AM A WATCH AND I AMBIG AND EXPENSIVE!!! HEYHEY< LOOK AT MEEEEE!!!"

Well, it may not be expensive, but it is definetely BIG.
