And just a comment about wood. When used judiciously, I think wood in an interior is attractive. I have a wooden/aluminum steering wheel/gear shift package in my midnight blue/graphite 2001TT and think it adds a nice GT quality touch. I will definitely order it on the Cayenne as well. Maybe an age thing, and the fact that I have owned numerous hard core Porsches over the years (1964 904 GTS; 1974 Carrera RS 3.0, for example)...

Agreed. Let me say that without the wood, the center console looks downright cheap, especially the sliding cover of the cup holders.
I've got the dark wood package and steering wheel with a stone/silver interior and the wood really makes it look great.
