    It must have been fun to be a passenger BUT

    isn't this car way overpowered? "Stick to stock" is the only thing going through my mind after watching this.

    In the right hands, it's extremely fast and not overpowered at all. However, for road use, I'd prefer the AWD version. I's like to see this engine in the 997TT. That would make for one hell of an Autobahn stormer.

    Amazing! "Stick to Stock" is maybe the best thing to do when it comes to cars like Porsche, but I must admit, the RT12 is great! I like some of the Ruf cars, especially the great Yellow bird, and for me the RT12 is a worthy successor of the mighty CTR! And I'm sure, that on a track, in the right hands, the Ruf RT12 is a real blast!

    You just need a big budget for tires... Well if you can afford the car, you probably can anyway.

    I'm not too much into drifting either, it only creates a lot of cost (tires) and although it may make the driver look cool, this is a piece of cake for an experienced driver. Not worth it...unless somebody else pays for the tires.

    I do not speak German (just one year in college), but -- judging by the silly giggling of the passengers -- I'm comforted to find that "car geek" is a trans-cultural phenomenon. That would have been fun as a passenger...or a driver.
