Thanks Richard. I know why it happened, I was DWS; driving while sober!
The damage to the Honda Element I call "Watson". I sort of rubbed the two cars together.
Ya gotta wonder if "Watson" had been yearning, lusting for the opportunity to rub up against the C4's sultry hips?
Although hard to laugh at these mishaps when they occur, it becomes easier with the passage of time. A couple of years ago I had a dealer side-swipe my new BMW on delivery day-- sales associate gouged the front bumper, quarter panel and wheel on a brick pillar flanking the delivery holding bay!
They offered me several alternatives to remedy the situation, all of which were more than fair.....but I had not even sat in the driver's seat yet, which was overwhelmingly bad karma to me, so I waited another two months as they ordered another car for me at a large discount. In retrospect I probably should've taken their original offer of repair and compensation and just gone on; funny thing is that I still see around town the exact BMW on which I declined delivery -- driven by its eventual owner, always looks like he's enjoying himself a great deal....C'est la vie.
Speedy repairs to you, Rhino and Don.
Congrats, Rhino- the S cabrio looks great, esp with the blue softtop & XRR wheels
