So, what everyone expected happened. And we can look forward to an all new exciting V8-modell in 2008/2009. Hmmm, just imagine, this sophisticated V8 with approximately 4.7 litres and 535 horses together with this delicate new chassis technology, just introduced in the F599.

I thought that it was generally accepted that the 430 replacement was going to be a V10?
Well, not so sure about that. Obviously there are two rumours:
- One is the new V10, that is reported to use the former Formula 1 V10 as basis. A new V10 to fight back the V10 in the Gallardo.
- The other is the new V8, which is capable of at least 4.8 litres and of which already a 4.7 litre version will be used in the Quattroporte in the near future.

The less numbers of each model are produced, the better for the whole brand. That is the reason for exclusivity and conservation of value.

There is no way they can fill orders for those on the wait list. THis should be good news for Gallardo and Porsche 997TT.

but maybe some of it was due to the possibility of none coming in the not to distant future.
maybe now even with the limited amount the market price will stabilize at its current stratospheric level.
