    2004 Porsche Days SPA FRANCORCHAMPS

    Hello to all Porsche fans,

    You probably know this year's edition of the Porsche days on the famous Belgian circuit of SPA Francorchamps is scheduled for April 32rd to 25th. All information on the programme, events, track driving reservations can be found at:

    Has anyone planned to go there? Any initiative from Rennteam to team up?

    Hello Dr. Carrera,

    thanks for your information. I live only a few kilometres from Spa-Francorchamps - so, yes I'll be definite there. I think it is one of the most exciting Porsche events. Many new and old Porsche Models to see. And the best of all: For all Porsche drivers the entry is free

    Right know I'm thinking of track driving for one day. (Saturday or Sunday, FUN or SPORT category?) I'm not really sure. My new GT3 RS will be delivered in April and I want to have some experience before

    Well it seems that a limited number of Rennteam clients know about this event or live this side of the Atlantic ocean.
    TOO BAD! They'll miss THE Porsche-event of the year on the most exciting F1 circuit in the world (dixit Ayrton SENNA). For my part I will attend on sunday 25th.

    Sorry, but I'll be enjoying the Nürburgring precisely at these dates... Very close to Spa, but I'll stay in Germany!

    It seems that Michelin is a sponsor of this event. Do you know if there is a chance to get tires on the track? Would be easier than bringing your own set of spare tires.

    Last year there was a Pirelli truck I think but maybe this year there will be a Michelin one? Anyway it's sure that you can change your tires there!

    There was also a F1 style MICHELIN truck last year. This year again, technical and tyre service will be available in the pit lane. I know from some friends MICHELIN will be there offering full-fledged tyre service with special conditions for Porsche Club members.

    I reckon this is for a current Porsche?? Then IMO there should be no problem... Yet I will take advice with some people close to the organisation and let you know.

They assist the club in track and racing activities throughout the year and ensure the 'Michelin' service at SPA. Pilot Sport CUP is their main product on sale at this event and availability is no problem.     A few more days left! Hope all of you who will attend are doing well and your Porsches are in good shape for this event, be it as enthusiast or track driver.
    The weather forecast seems not bad for the weekend. Currently it's rather rainy and chilly over here. More sunny and dry weather is foreseen as of friday.

    Whatever the weather, as in previous years it should be great fun and I hope to meet perhaps some of you over there!
