My intent is to say that 99% of the regular posters on this board are probably not " celebs " as defined by the common " stargazers " who cling around trendy LA hot spots - even if they had the net worth to buy several car dealerships with pocket change. If one showed up in an Enzo, one must be prepared to hear " he's nobody " from the peanut gallery ,lol. ( That's LA , where it's all about the PR managed image- where stars may drive Priuses to awards ceremonies )

Aaarh, okay then.
Let me fill you in.
I dumped the darned Ferrari because I got too much flak for driving a foreign car.
The Ferrari just made me feel out of place...stylish, elegant, suave, international...
I'd rather keep a low profile and mix with the Average Joes of L.A. and look like regular people who import used carpets from Guatemala and sell Viagra-sprayed lawn fertilizers via mailorder.
With my new Vette I can do that.
I just wanted to feel like that little boy from Texas, who sat next to his alcoholized daddy in his turnip truck...
This all reminds me of a thing that happened today on the show:
I was conducting a group therapy session with four young mothers and their small children.
"You all have obsessions," I observed.
To the first mother, I said, "you are obsessed with eating. You've even named your daughter Candy."
I turned to the second mom: "your obsession is with money. Again, it manifests itself in your child's name, Penny."
I turn to the third mom. "Your obsession is alcohol. This, too, manifests itself in your child's name, Brandy."
At this point, the fourth mother gets up, takes her little boy by the hand and whispers, "come on Dick, we're leaving!".

By the way, I had Feminando Alhomso on the show one day, but we had to cut that segment out. He simply couldnt reach the high chairs we have on the set.
This incident inspired me to write a new book entitled "Seven smart steps to un-gay your midgetness".
I wrote it as a follow-up to my huge success: "Gay AND midget? Whoa! Does my life suck major league or what? - A portrait of an unnamed F1 hero".
They actually have an article about the book in Business Midget Weekly.

I believe his car choice had more to do with the slogan "what is good for GM is good for America." Also, keep in mind his audience tend to be middle and lower income individuals. They cannot or will not relate to Ferrari's but are fast warming up to Porsche's.

Well do-oh! He's trying to mingle with the audience. Not to worry, though! He'll be buying a Ferrari in no time, so as to please his low-status fans from all over the greater La Jolla area
