Porsche used to make a sealant, but I think they stopped because it was incredibly difficult to use (you basically had to mask off the car to use it).
Personally I like to impregnate my top
This BMW stuff works great and is very easy to apply. Just be sure to get the kind for fabric tops.

Raggtopp is the one most Porsche owners use I think. It is recommended by the company that actually makes the tops for Porsche (Haartz I think). I picked up the dual pack with cleaner and protectanst when I was at the Porsche Clubs of America show a couple of weeks ago. One of the guys there told me that Raggtopp is applied to the tops at the factory when they are manufactured; not sure if I believe him or not but it works. Just cover your windows with the newspaper of something when spraying on.

I have used RaggTopp on all my Boxster's top. Very easy to use and I believe it also has a UV protectant which would be important for a Florida Car. Just pick a good day when the wind is not blowing so you will not have too much overspray.

Yep, another muppet here - but in defence I remember reading somewhere ( I think it was in a care care leaflet from my OPC)
to only use water to clean the roof and then not every time you wash the car? What does the manual say about caring for the soft top? I've got Autoglym's soft top care kit in my garage that a friend gave me when I got the Boxster, but I've been very wary about using their products after their acid based and aggresive alloy wheel cleaner ate the wheels on my previous car. I'd only let Zymol (or similar) products anywhere near my baby.

I had the same thought, as its getting more difficult to get the heavy duty Scotchguard spray in my B&Q nowadays.
I tried NikWax NXT UltraProofer, then Fabsil tent spray. The fact i've tried both these in the last 5 weeks and returned to Scotchguard says it all - so,so disappointed in the Fabsil and NikWax.
I'm tempted to try the BMW impreganator.
I have to say thought, that even the scotchguard doesn't work anywhere near as well on the 987 as it did on the 986 before it, which used to bead water like a ducks back
