    3 hours and I collect the car...

    A bit nervous, but setting off at lunch time to pick up the C2S. I've done more preperation than you can shake a stick at so I hope the car is immaculate and I can drive it away today.

    Thanks to all who helped me spend my money, but at the same time providing all those little bits of information that normally go un-noticed as a novice.

    I will post some images of the car taken at the dealer and if the weather holds off, some on the drive too.

    Thanks guyz. Pacing around like a "Caged Tiger" at the moment waiting for my lift to arrive. Another cup of tea I thinks and a couple of slices of toast to settle the stomach.

    ...just noticed that in some of your posts you mention Nottingham so probably not one of my locals. Please tell them to ship some PSE units to Reading for me though anyway

    I went to Uni at Nottingham way back when. Aren't there some cracking scenic roads around the forest I seem to recall? Get that camera clicking!!

    I can honestly say I have never felt like this about a car ever. Oh, just in case the wife's looking, our wedding day was far more exciting darling.

    doesn't beat the birth of my little boy though

    Just got the call back from Lisa in Servicing. They called every OPC in the country associated with Porsche GB and there are no free units

    So still on the back-order list

    What a fantastic day. I've managed to get just over 200 miles on the clock today baring in mind 70 of them were just coming back from the dealer. The car is filthy, some of you might like to hear.

    Today, I had two lovely young ladies trying to get my attention at the OPC as I was driving out onto the main road. Had a brief chat before moving on. I've had countless numbers of young lads waving and showing their appreciation of the car as I drove past them. I've had Yamaha R6 pull along side me on the M18 and try to egg me on for a race, but didn't satisfy his hunger and last but not least I experience the glorious PSE. I never knew this car would grab so much attention, it was and is an incredible experience.

    The pics taken at the dealer today are a little bit on the poor side to be honest, due mainly to over exposure as the sun was causing really bad solar reflections within the dealers showroom. So, i'll post some pics tomorrow once she's clean again.

    There is a couple of photos one of the dealer driving the car out of the showroom, and one with my mother and I stood by the car when I stopped by to show the car off.

    "I bet you get a lot of attention from the ladies in that thing"

    ...to which I replied:

    "not with my girlfriend giving them death-stares back from the passenger seat I don't!"

    - Sweet ride ResB, just try to keep that passenger seat as illusively empty as possible and you can't go wrong!
