Does anyone know if they are going to offer bluetooth connectivity and Sirius satellite radio for 2007? I know they can be added aftermarket but it's just not the same.
Thanks for the info. Does it work through the pcm? Could you tell me what they are charging for that. I spoke to my dealer and they don't offer this setup, I guess it's really new.
Well most people are getting it installed outside. It is not an official 997 option (when I ordered mine in July 05, Nov del). So if you want that same 4 year warranty coverage then you will have to wait. Porsche is pretty slow in implementing these things. I really wanted to wait for the PDK model but my wife wanted her car faster. I mean with the advent of ipods and Sirius, the CD changer option is going to be obsolete soon to many except the audiophiles. And the 997 is quiet enough to hear the difference betw mp3/aac and CD quality.
02c4s it does work through the pcm. I asked my dealer what would happen if the radio starts to malfunction for any reason and he told me they would warranty it since they did the install. I know of a dealer who has done a few of these upgrades in Connecticut and they are assisting my dealer. The charge is $1,900 w/tax. If you need the info let me know.
