    F430 Stradale ???

    Seen at Fiorano (www.autoweek.nl)

    Normal windows, not the real challenge wheels. It's going to be great when they will have the same exhaust as the real challenge car.

    The stradale grill at the back of the 430's look terrible, don't flow with the lines of the car at all!

    When you like to haven it on your old car; you need a new bumper and a the grill. I think you can get it on the 2007 cars (from september???)

    Two 430's have been "arrested" by the police in the South of Germany. The exhausts had been find illegal due to violating specific noise rules. Despite the 430 went through the official German testing by its italian noise proof certificate - EU Law - this local police department is denying legal conformity of the serial exhaust system. Now Ferrari of Germany tries to overcome this problem with minor changes of the exhaust system with the flaps. Meanwhile they have not only reduced noise but power output as well. Thats why some of the german 430 owners switched over to the Challenge exhaust configuration because its not as loud as the "normal" one.

    Interesting thread. Ferrari UK have officialy denied there will be "CS" version of 430 and won't take deposits . The car in pic looks like a 430 Challenge without Lexan windows to me ...

    May I contribute, that I saw recently a 430 Challenge at the Modena based dealer Motor Spa, which I can really recommend for its skills and level of work to the community. They speak (Ingenere Vicenzi) perfectly English. They have really great connections with the Ferrari factory because all the key men of the Motor Spa worked before for quite a while for the Ferrari factory. I have my car serviced not at Switzerland but at Modena. So I can breath there Ferrari, Modena and all the specials of the Emiglia Romania at the same time.

    Yes the challenge grill is a new option.I agree with Mike. Just does not look right.

    I am curious as to why they would even build a 430CS. What would be the marketing advantage? Those interesting in a race car can buy a Challenge car.

    Also, if the numbers are right about the 997 Turbo, the CS would need some MAJOR reworking from the present 430 model to compete against the TT.

    Nick- as an F car you know very well that the CS may well not be a series car, but rather just an end of run as was the F355 fiorano, I dont know why ppl seem to think this car will come...maybe something on the F430, but it might be small run, or just cosmetic etc, i wouldnt expect anything, enjoy the base car! esp considering that more and more super ferraris will be coming to do the "road racer" car thing...

    They'll probably wait a till the last year of production or so to come out with the CS to boost sales a little. I hope they do come out with a 430CS. AWESOME CAR!
    I highly doubt they'd get 150kgs off a street car. That would put the curb weight at 2866lbs (1300kgs).

    no it's not! look at the yellow car again. notice the absence of sliding lexan windows, tow hooks, 430 Challenge wheels and fuel-filler caps! definitely not a Challenge car, nor a stock F430.
