    For a long drive this Saturday (F430, 997 C2S Cab & Viper)

    Hi guys,

    The weather was really wonderful this Saturday, couple of my buddies and my brother came along for the drive. It was about 9am in the morning and my friend in his 94'RT-10 Viper arrive at my house. So I pull the other 2 cars which we are going to use out of the garage. Here is a photo of the 3 in the driveway.

    Here is another photo from another angle. I think my friend is in need of a good detailer's contact details! We have some coffee at my place, and then we make our way to our first stop. For some breakfast!

    Here we are on the road on our way to have breakfast. The noise the 3 cars made on the road combined were amazing. Talk about turning heads! This kind of thing rarely happens over here so the other people went totally nuts if when we drove past.

    My Carrera S cab my brother was driving is in front. Now I can finally see how the spoiler lifts while driving! It looks great!

    The breakfast just for the record was great!! Just what we needed! My friend unfortunately had to leave after breakfast, issues at home needed some attending to.

    We however pressed on, finding new roads etc. for future runs. The sun had started to set and we found this fantastic road, was so smooth and scenic. Very little traffic too. Here are some pictures of the quick pit stop.

    Thanks for the pics Mike. American muscle, Italian passion, and German precision is a great combination.

    When the original Viper made it to production in '92 it was an awesome car. Even today, I think the design looks modern and very intimidating. I like it much better than the current generation.

    Very nice pics, thanks for sharing. The sound of the F430 is what got all the attention I am sure. The Viper engine does not sound all that gr8. The P-car sounds gr8 at high RPM's and the 430 sounds like a bad mofo no matter what or where

    Wow, let's see... Where to start?! The car has gone beyond my wildest expectations! The main thing that gives me goosebumps each time is when I tap on the accelerator and the exhaust valves open up! The sound is just AMAZING!!! It is much louder than any car I have owned previously!

    To be honest, I haven't pushed the car to anywhere near it's limit, but from what I have experienced is that this is one AWESOME handling car. It just sticks to the road. The sport seats also keep you in place without you feeling any miscomfort, really great option to take! The carbon ceramic brakes are out of this world! This is my first car with carbon ceramic brakes and the difference between these and steel disks are like night and day! No fade at all what so ever!

    The F1 transmission on the car is also a masterpiece! I especially love the downshifts! They sound great I'm still trying to get used to the accelerating part, haven't gotten it quite smooth as of yet

    That is the 430 in a nutshell, expect much more detailed review a little later on. Right now I gotta post the rest of the pictures, I'm exhausted!

    yes, damian I too think that the first generation Viper looks the best!

    I still love my 997 S cab as much as the day I picked her up! Remember, each car has their own special qualities which makes them unique(at least to me ) I don't regret getting the 997 even after having the 430. The 997 is a wonderful car, even though it might not be as loud, fast, beautifully designed(don't get me wrong the 997 is still a beautiful car) as the 430. The 997 is here to stay, the only way she will leave me is if a 997 Turbo comes into the picture
