He sold his place a year ago. I did never see him, but I did bump into a few other "prominent" people in the local Coop grocery store 
Kate Moss managed to torn her knee ligament in Gstaad last week *big news* We missed her too though since we arrived the day after.

What's all that stuff going in lines across the mountain? The Chinese buy part of the mountain and install paddy fields or something?
Catch fences as avalanche protection. There's probably a ski trail below that face.

We really though about making our next move to Switzerland. We have family who lives there. Taxes are low for foreigners, we like the mountains. It is easy to move around to Italy and France. But in the end we passed. The winter is long, and where to live? A city or a place in the mountains? Swiss cities are nice but not that interesting in the grand scheme of things. Living in the mountains would be very restrictive for culture and mud seasons. Also Switzerland is pretty expensive real estate and day to day.
In the end Miami wins. Year round good weather, boating, dining and culture, easy flying to everywhere in the world...

Also, living in Switzerland would be like living in Bavaria but without the beautiful women around Munich. 
Well, I guess I am a victim of a Swiss boarding school...I couldn't wait to leave the country and never looked back.
I love Swiss watches though...and Ovomaltine.
