BTW I don't see any insults on this thread (my standards biased after the Apple and Trump threads). Not even blowing off steam. RC and I are simply well rounded renaissance men. We are limited editions and married limited edition woman with limited edition children. It is the only way to be.

We have signed 3 treaties in the past that require the criminalization of pot. So it won't be easy. Not sure how the US got around it in Colorado, but it's probably because it's state and not federal.

The Single Convention on Narcotic Drugs of 1961, as amended by the 1972 Protocol;

The Convention on Psychotropic Substances of 1971;

The United Nations Convention against Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances of 1988.

All three require the criminalization of possession and production of cannabis.

More like Colorado, Oregon, Washington state and District of Columbia. Alaska shortly. As some have pointed out it is less harmful than many legal drugs so I guess it makes sense. Another reason not to join the UN. I guess if you find them like the US you get a free pass to fire up.

As for RC's points earlier, alcohol is dangerous. I have maybe 2-3 beers a month and I am a very picky German beer drinker... that said, it's terrible here in Canada to get even a simple and proper Pils. Secondly, I guess he's an ok driver... he'll never ever be as good as me. I have amazing road feel, I see things so far up the road I can judge when people change lanes even before they do Smiley
