if we look at astons as gt cars, i do not see a real performance problem. performance is plenty for normal on road driving. while certainly not fastest, the performance of my rapide s for example is ample to enjoy the car.

noone1:Steampunk interior :/
Don't know how it will translate to USD, but base price is 155K GBP, or about 215K USD. So the new car is priced $70K under the flagship Vanquish and is better in probably every way? Ouch to all new Vanquish sitting on lots...
I guess that's why the first car will be delivered by end of year. Anyway, they said that they already got 1000 orders for the DB11. Good for them if true.

waiting for PDK:SciFrog:AM is loosing a little bit of their soul there. One of their motto was that everything on the car was to be unique to AM...
The V8 Vantages had nav, key and vents from the Volvo S40. At least they're moving upmarket for borrowing purposes.
Nav totally, but keys and vents too?

Theres nothing unique about the current interior. Mostly leftovers from late 90s Ford.
Clearly you haven't been in a 90s Ford recently to refresh your memory.

I love AM but Everything in the current db9 came from Ford and Volvo (which used to be owned by ford till 2010) There was a pic of scraped off AM key where you could see the Volvo logo.
Btw, same thing was said about RR and Bentley when they were taken over by the Germans. Look at them now. They're better than ever!

even those rims tell it all, way too much design lines and BS. It was such a perfect clean base, it's almost surprising how they managed to ruin it this much.. the DB9 was almost perfect

I agree, new design is much too busy. The old one was clean and modern, timeless.
