Not to mention the inconvenience of having the track booked for practice/quali/races when you want to drive for fun...

Not really. See Mosport Park in Ontario. Like them, we have terrain on our side and we kept a lot of the hills as spectator mounds, those have great sightline to basically the whole course. Might need a foot bridge/walkway between infield and outfield though. That's is under discussion and investigation.

A proper F1 style grandstand is not really needed as the 2 series I mentioned, no disrespect to them, are not F1 nor WEC championships caliber, so the expected crowd will not be large.

All we have is land, so parking will not be a problem either.

Food and drink stands, lavatories can be had as a temporary items for events like that.

Yes they do take away track time from the members, but those races don't run 365 days a year. For the monetary compensation and publicity we will get, we will gladly trade a few days of track time.

Gravel bed is going down nicely!

And yes, that's the typical weather there, right now it's at 25 degrees. Gonna be 30 when I visit laster this week.

Today went for another track walk with Jacque on hand to explain his design. Yesterday we did a poker run from Kelowna to Osoyoos and this shows up to do the run

Exit of 4 looking back (yes the humps are there for real. This is Jacque's corner and he design those in to unsettle the car. Evil.

exit of the straight forward hairpin 12. And yes we were racing the golf karts by then

middle straight, our second longest

15 looking towards turn 16 our last turn, hat leads to the pit straight

pit straight looking back towards 16 then 15 at the bottom

pit straight where the start finish line is

Thanks. if you put a golf cart in neutral when you're going down a big hill you can really get them moving, but I guess 15:00 will just have to be record for a couple more months.
