    Well the difference is it will have more downforce, race suspension setup, more grip, overal improved chassis, the car is going to be way faster then Gt3 in porsches classic ( it looks harmless but goes fast as hell) stile

    I sitll dont know though if the Manual GT3 Rs is the right choice... (very fast car indeed but again manual?! )
    I may pay something more and buy a used 2005 E-Gear Murchi...

    GT3 and/or RS are in a completely different class than Murcielago...they have different purposes, I think that a Tip Turbo would be more in the same market as the "bat!"

    It seems that the 997 GT3 RS will be shown at Paris Motor Show in september,first deliveries in November 2006

    it seems same engine and same HP that "normal" Gt3...but there is a rumor about a different engine...but i whant to tell nothing now..becouse i'm not sure..in next days if there are updates i let know here first!

    Porsche GT3 RS
    The first, and highly anticipated, 911 is the upcoming GT3 RS -- which will make an appearance worldwide. The GT3 RS uses the wider rear fenders of the Carrera 4, a wider rear track, a more aggressive rear wing, and a modified front spoiler lip. The RS will be offered in the same 1970s colours that made the 1973 Carrera RS famous, as evidenced by the bright orange and green roll bars in test mules as well as the edges where their black peelcoats are shrinking. The new GT3 RS will lose weight compared to the standard 997 GT3 with items like a carbon-fiber wingtop, the extensive use of composite bodywork, and lightweight glass. It will homologate several changes for the upcoming 2007 GT3 RSR race car, possibly including a 3.8-liter flat six instead of the 3.6-liter, 415-hp unit in the new

    holy sh*t!!! Looks great! Only; the first couple of pics, same car (same plates), but different rims... strange but not impossible. I love the rear wing, I think it will be a big aftermarket item for the standard GT3.

    ugly .....the wing is too "big" for a Porsche .......seems bigger than the 997 Gt3 cup wing !
    i prefer the normal or the cup wing .
