Nick, I can't believe they wouldn't differentiate the RS from the GT3 with at least 25 more hp. The price difference is considerable (30%). Just adding bells and whistle to the RS to justify the cost would not persuade to pick the RS over the GT3.
The RS in the 996 and 997.1 had no power advantage and the 997.2 had only 15hp more...
In general, the advantages are all to make them work better on the track. Aside from a financial perspective, I think you'd be better off with the non-RS since you don't track (and most of the track enhancements compromise road manners and even straight-line speed. The GT3 will again be faster than the RS on the autobahn).
