koko:Enmanuel:The Shmee150 video on youtube has a good walk around of the car with really nice angles and a look at details. I recomend giving that a look.

It's a Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse. I don't see the problem carrying both cars on one trailer though. Please enlighten me. You think it's below the car's standard?

Eh, I don't see the issue. Far more expensive cars have been carrier together in trailers.
Wow, that transport looks so cheap! What is it? Budget F1 for peasants?
Anything less than a gold-plated private cargo jet is not worth getting out of bed for

palenimbus:Do F1 cars cost more than $2.5 million?
F1 cars are not built just for resale, so you can't compare them. But if the teams were to earn their income purely from the sale of the small numbers of cars they build every year, they would have to charge a lot more than $2.5 million per car just to break even.

The cost of Audi R18 LMP1 is $30.000.000 (est.)
I believe F1 car is not far behind of this figure in terms of cost. Power unit itself costs about 2-2,5 mil $

500-700 k is the figure for Indycar, Super Formula, GP2 (all common parts dallara ~350 k chassis, engine ~ 80-100 k + electronics), LMP2. For For 100-300 k you can get GP3, LMP3, FLM chassis with engine and electronics.

Ok, but I think the reason Koko raised this was risk of damage? Cars are transported like this all the time.
If the Bugatti is destroyed...not end of world, it can be replaced, not time sensitive. If the F1 car is destroyed, not sure they can just build a new one in a day in time for the race.
The truck both Bugatti were transported in is a typical special car transport truck for exactly that purpose and it is very safe! This is a very common method to transport such cars (or even mules) from A to B. There are only very few specialized companies in Europe doing that.

Milanno:Instead of that shame truck in front of dealership they should have Scania customized truck (I`ve made quick render with Bugatti blue color and logo). Scania is owned by VW.

Because that wouldn't warrant undue attention to the cargo! Security is of utmost concern.

Love your quick render Milanno but agree 100% with CGX. No attention makes sense.
And come on guys.... are we really discussing the delivery truck of a Bugatti?

This might be the first speculative "render" I've ever seen of what a transport truck might look like.

Good idea. So car thieves/criminals know exactly what is in the truck.
All closed car transporters I saw (with expensive exotics, mules, etc.) have nothing written on them. Zilch. For a reason.

I would have to have a lot of money and many other cars before wanting that. I don't even like the sound of it that much. Reminds me of the UPS truck sound Dodge Vipers used to make. It is not Ferrari sweet at all. Even AMG sounds better. The style looked like Papa Smurf went Gangsta and made a fortune pimpin. Perhaps it's the blue.
