Why? Not too long ago the Fx was 1.5 and it will go back there in the future.

Same here. It looks cheap and ruins the whole appearance of the nice light strip at the back.

I think that the substantial increase in torque will be more useful at this, besides it seems that the 4-wheel drive is now the way to go, so while the Targa used to be a dynamically compromised 911 due to AWD and Targa concept (Weight, elevated CoG), now the Targa is compromised "just" because it is a Targa.

I agree ..they are gimmicky and give the effect that some bulbs are burned out !
+1, particularly the, "give the effect that some bulbs are burned out," part.
Are these now LEDs? If so their brightness could mean that they don't need as many points of light; also for brake lights to be effective they need to look substantially different than normal running tail lights, ie have some "shock value".

a s beauty ...but if it is a Lava Orange configurator sceen shot , the real world color is much flatter and as noted is a more salmony " track car " orange color ........this rendering looks more like the two versions of " road car " metallic Daytona Orange on recent Corvettes , which I have always felt would be a better 911 color than a Corvette color .

dertub:I like that shade of grey for sure. With all of these twin turbos coming up, I wonder how they will distinguish the actual Turbo other than the fastest one!!!
I won't be surprised to see fancy electric turbocharger(s) on the Turbo that reduce lag and improve performance (as demonstrated by Audi).

dertub:You're probably right. Something tells me we will see more synergy with Audi also. Porsche is also busy accumulating depressed VW shares. The family battles continue.
Since both sides of the family schism are represented in the Porsche holding company, which owns the voting majority of the VW Group, VW share purchases are not necessarily a sign that the battle continues. They are just a sign that they think that VW Group shares are a good buy at the moment.
