    458 Speciale A

    So it is finally here, and what a car Smiley  I will post full driving impressions etc in due course but in short it handles supremely without the scuttle shake of my 458 Spider and there is clear improvement in gearing, performance, braking power, preciseness of steering and the sound is raspier than the normal 458 " V8 boy racer bellow". Despite the tighter suspension I have found no issue over bumpy roads etc  - or maybe its the excitement of delivery day. I have gone for Giallo Triplo Strato as I have not had yellow before. Its a great colour  - shines in the sun and almost glows in low light. The interior is Blu Scuro. Note a few personal touches with the smaller rear blue stripe at the rear (I think the one that goes over the spoiler is overpowering) and the yellow rims around the Launch etc buttons etc. More photos after detailing etc. For now please enjoy my amateur photography....

    This car is just perfect, congratulations. Smiley 

    You cannot even imagine how much I (positively) envy you now. Smiley  This would actually be the car I would desire most right now, it is a Speciale in cabriolet flavor and even the color is right for this car. Amazing interior as well. Smiley

    Thanks for your kind comments everyone wink Just been for another drive - its extraordinary  - everything is so precise and yet easy to execute for an amateur driver like me. I drove a 488 for the first time earlier today as well - which was nice - but thank God I got the allocation for the Aperta.

    WOW is definitely the right word for this. that combo looks amazing, very cool. You're racking up quite the collection caryphile ! With this and your Singer you've really covered two mayor automotive gems.

    Stunning indeed, and your spec shows perfect taste.   One of the problems with the secondary market in F-cars is the number of cars with "what were they thinking" colour and interior choices - you should (with Iain and Suzy perhaps...indecision) write the manual.

    Here you go. Note i extended the stripe to the small section at the top of the windscreen ( which a lot of people forget to do) so that there is not a yellow interruption when the roof is up.

    Not usually a fan of stripes, but the blue and white goes really well with the yellow
