    The first step to integrate Ferrari platforms with the "rest" of the FCA empire to lower overall costs.  It's already happening with engine development, witness that Alfa-Romeo is using a Ferrari-derived engine for the Guilia.

    The super low emissions  LaFerrari being tested as referenced in this article acknowledges by its manufacturer wheremany , many of these cars spend their lifetimes when not locked under a soft car cover : creeping along at trawling speeds around expensive storefronts in congested wealthy urban areas that will increasingly ban all but the lowest emsiions vehicles like those that can run in full - electric mode for more than just a few miles

    Yes, that has always been one of the ironies associated with "gas guzzler taxes" and the ilk.  Seldom, do many of these get regular workouts when fuel inefficient SUVs and pickup trucks roam the streets.
