It truly is John and I'm passed 90,000Km already, but it still brings me the same enjoyment as the first day, to the point that even if I change 911, I don't think I can let this one go, I think I would regret it.
I always trade in my current 911 when I get a new one but for the first time I don't think this will be the case, I can't get anything like this anymore.
And don't see myself changing soon either since unfortunately right now there is nothing on the model line-up or the horizon that I would rather drive than this GTS, for a daily driver that is (would love a GT3/RS but is not really a DD), nothing has the wonderful sound of the GTS and NA engine and snappiness of this car in the new versions. The only thing would be a GT3 Touring with 4-seats and PDK but don't have my hopes up of that happening.
How about you John, still enjoying your GTS?
Carlos, for what it’s worth I feel exactly the same way with our 981 Boxster GTS, at least the current 911’s still have an engine fit for a proper sports car, albeit not having the same instant non turbo-lag throttle response nor such a wonderful sounding engine as yours has
