GT3 engine issues again?
Apparently on Car and Driver blog there's been about GT3 engines with valvetrain problems that needed replacement.

Leawood911:24 hours for one car proves very little in light of the 1000's of hours ahead of these engines. It sounds like they are having oiling problems. Not a surprise.
24 hours in race conditions is worth 1000's of hours of street driving. A motor like the one in the GT3 is only intended to last around 60-100 hours in race conditions.
This is why Porsche's extension of the 4-year factory warranty (in US) to track use (no Slick Tires allowed) is such a big deal.

My GT3 been super reliable , just needed a new thermostat the other week and thats it. They said they replaced something else but i cannot recall what it was. On pick up it sounded louder with the Sports Exhaust on and appear to have a fair bit more torque when going at speed along the motorway. Any ideas guys what the OPC completed?, I'm no mechanic, sorry.
Also beat my PB in it, took her up to 118mph,

Blow the motor on my GT3 this tuesday in Belgium 
Don't now exactly whats happened yet since it is still in Belgium waiting for transport. Will let you know what happened to it as soon as the mecanics done there job. But it was a big bang, so MAJOR failur..... Guess i need a new motor before next season 
As we say here, shit happens....!!!
